Baluch Rugs : Baluch nomads are groups of different races who roam between Persia and Western Afghanistan. The Baluch weave wool rugs which are very durable, of high quality, with a dense and tight weave. Their warp is wool, and sometimes they also usegoat's wool. In modern rugs they also use cotton warp. They use dark red, blue, brown and black herbal colours. The designs are geometric and often represent in a variety of forms the tree of life, a symbolic scene used often in prayer rugs. The Baluch rugs that were dealt in the city of Iran, Mashad, are called Mashad-Baluch, while others sold in the city of Herat in Afghanistan, are known as Herat-Baluch.

Turkaman Rugs : The Turkaman rugs are being woven in several regions of Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, eastern Turkestan, Afghanistan and Belutschistan. Basjir, Salor, Τekke-Bochara, Jolam-Bocharaband, Ersar, Tjaudor and Yomut rugs, which are characteristicexamples of the Bokhara techniques, belong to the category of the Turkaman rugs. Deep red and different tones of red, even purple or brown are their principal colours. Their main rugs designs include repeated octagonal, rhombi, the motifs gul and yomut. Their warp is woolen.

Nomadic rugs: Rugs woven by nomads. Nomads move continuously and do not stay permanently in one geographic region. They manufacture (weave) handmade rugs on collapsible looms. Due to that fact there may be slight variations in weaving and their rugs are sometimes uneven in shape. Also the weaving is made from memory and it depends on each artisans momentary inspiration. As a result, the designs in some rugs are not even on the entire surface.

All CarpetU2 carpets are subject to cleaning with high quality antibacterial and moth protection products according to Persian law.

Abrash: Due to the different amount of grease in the wool and the added salt during the process of dyeing, the wool has got a varying colour absorbance. This is not very visible before weaving. During the weaving though, lines of the same colour are formed in the rug. This is called Abrash (which in Farsi means little cloud) and it shows that the wool was not manufactured using chemical means and marks the naturalness and authenticity of the rugs. Examples
